Odds are they won't be compatible with each other and the few gba fakes I've had couldn't hold a save for very long.
Don't bother wasting money on repro carts and just buy a flashcart. It'll have the same issues like no palpark or poketransfer but at least you'd be able to easy edit the saves and move pokemon that way. Or even look into a proxy service and import your missing games from Japan for way cheaper.
