>>38189338I like the cut of your jib anon. Most of the kids on here would take the
>>38189231 route but you have actual input and I appreciate that. You’re 100% right about structure, I’ve always had issues with it, but I rarely paint anything that resembles bodies these days - most of my subjects are buildings, cityscapes, and objects, so I rarely work on bodies, but I should probably practice that more from now on. It’s just such a pain finding and paying for models these days. Everyone thinks they’re a Kardashian just because they have a couple thousand instagram followers. And I hear you about the second part, altho I would kind of disagree - I worked as an IT/networking contractor who was basically on call the entire time I was actively writing, they didn’t care if I was locked up for a couple days as long as I got everything done. But I understand that that’s entirely subjective and may not be a feasible option for you. If you live in the suburbs I would just go on Google Maps and find bridges in your area to go paint at. It’s easy to find relatively remote places where cops won’t bother you that way. Just look for nearby train tracks and follow them for a bit. You’re bound to stumble into something. Just for shits and giggles, pic related here’s a snippet of a collaboration with a friend from Bangkok.
