Perhaps it's just DP and not Platinum, or maybe it's the slowness of Gen 4 but I really think the Sinnoh region is SUCH A SLOG... either way I do appreciate the difficulty of the late game. If I had not used Gyarados I actually believe I'd have lost this run, without DDance setup I don't believe there was a 'fair' way to beat the E4 - and although the levels are lower in Platinum the mons and movesets are harder. My favorite pair for the chunk of the game were Bibarel and Machamp (Wood and Weight) which got bopped after Fantina 5th gym. Toxicroak and Girafarig were almost net detriments to the team and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Pachirisu - the rat is so weak but the Pickup ability got me at least 10 Rare Candies over the hours. Fun run, slightly OP Pokemon in Gyarados.
I will likely play Renegade Platinum whenever I revisit Sinnoh but next up will be Black 2. Probably just a 'normal' run but please suggest ideas.
