>>54897714>spacebattlesThere are three things you need to know about spacebattles
>Horny retardsThere is a trend that if you imply something lewd or have a scene that can be framed as lewdwr then it is, then horny retards will start horny posting and blast your entire thread.
In Born of Caution threads, the mods froze the threads multiple times because it kept attracting furries to the point that the author started posting his work on QQ just in case his thread got nuked.
If you get horny retards, immediatly demaine their behavior and report them. Make it clear you do not approve and get the mod to ban them immediately. If you don't, then you could get accused of supporting NSFW posts despite not doing anything
>Anti-Hero are "rAtIoNaL"People in spacebattles fucking love high IQ and rational MCs. It's become a fucking slang in fanfic communities about "spacebattle IQ" where the protagonist must make 100% logical decisons.
Additionally, they love anti-heroes. However, only if they don't cross moral boundries that the audience cares about. If your MC kills 100 namless grunts, then it's fine, but if he says "Cynthia make me a sandwich," then he will be labeled as pure evil. You can make your MC get away with anything as long as it isn't rape or hate speech against LGBTQ+helicopter.
For both, you need to establish early on how smart your MC is and what lines will he cross. Then power through the retards that comment gibberish
>ArgueingDo not argue on spacebattles it's like talking to a brick wall and can get the mods on your ass. The slightest insult can be taken as flaming with the mods ready to give you infactory points no matter the context. I'd recommend only responding to genuine questions to keep the engagement up and ignoring bait. If someone keeps replying and arguing back, just stop immediately before it gets out of hand.
