Wailord's Drizzle undoes Ninetales's Drought, we equip a Chesto Berry to protect us from Victreebel's Sleep Powder, Surf is nullified by Cradily's Storm Drain and powers it up to +1 Sp Atk while doing considerable damage to Ninetales, and Cradily finishes the job
We Protect the next turn to gauge what Krookodile will do (went for Knock Off on Cradily), but to my surprise, Cradily got a Crit onto it, sending in Houndoom
Fearing another Sleep Powder, I switched to Goodra, but it took a bit too much damage from Victreebel's Poison Jab afterwards for my liking
Then Life Orb knocked itself out, and Cradily wiped out Houndoom with Earth Power
From there, Maxie's Crobat was dealt with by Corsola, tanking its Brave Bird, but it would've also been at the mercy of Hypnosis, which it landed against Cradily
And then... the absolute mad lad sea lily woke up immediately and was out for blood, knocking out Crobat right after with a Power Gem
From there, it was checkmate: we both outsped Mega Camerupt and blasted it with Earth Power and Water Pulse
I prayed for Steven to clutch up and he went above and beyond, which I'm very grateful for
Now we prepare for Seafloor Cavern; two hard to dodge optional grunts means I should take care of 'em so I don't have to worry, but they should be small time
Archie should also be small time, as the same strategy I pulled off last time should still work again this time, when I get to him
