>>49119455>Sinnoh feels worse than the latter two, I dunno if it's because the engine is shit, you expect more out of Game Freak at this point (again Hoenn was right before it), or the graphics are just good enough to leave you wanting more or what.I think it's the tileset and terrible Pokemon distribution of DP. The routes themselves are much more complex than Kanto routes, there's no doubt about it. The dull pastel colors just get very boring, very fast and the fact that each route has more or less the same Pokemon you've already encountered makes it feel even more repetitive.
