Dark is supposed to be EVIL type. Playing dirty, generally antagonistic in nature, etc.
Dark is tied with Poison as the 8th most common type. There's 83 of them.
IMO that number should be WAY lower.
There's more Dark type Pokemon than:
>Fighting>Ground>Rock>Steel>Electric>Ghost>Dragon>Fairy>IceDark should at least be less common than the upper half of those types. Gens 5 and 9 really did introduce WAY too many.
Hopefully the S/V DLCs and the rest of this Gen will be pretty sparse with Dark types. They really should be rarer.
