Psychic types are now immune to mental effects, which includes effects such as infatuation, taunt, encore, disable etc.
This identical to the mental herb effects and gives Psychic types a niche of being hard to disrupt compared to other pokemon. Keep in mind that flinch moves such as fake out and sleep moves such as spore still affect psychic types, so they are not impossible to interact with.

Fairy no longer resist Bug. Bug is now super effective against Fairy. Ghost types no longer resist bug. Bug types now resists Fairy. Bug now resists Dark.
One of the main weaknesses of Bug is that Bug type is an actively detrimental typing both offensively and defensively. These changes are made to address that.
