One completely invalidates all special attackers in the game while being able to heal itself and nullify status effects all together, and the other stops physical attacks completely.
Just put both on your team and switch between them as needed like a total faggot and eventually through stalling victory shall be yours, no matter what else you pair them with (but the Intimidating & Dancin' duo of Gyarados and Salamence are recommended)
Literally ruined Gen III OU, but Smogon is shit anyway so it doesn't quite matter
