Greninja is a good pokemon with a good design, good inspiration and that's why is legitimately loved. Greninja was also included in Super Smash Brothers during the development before XY release because they loved Greninja, they loved their creation. You can't compare Greninja with other pokemon like Lucario, who is pushed since Gen 4 (a fucking decade), "Lucario" is even the name for the hightest rescue rank in a MDungeon game and that was even before DP release! Or Charizard, pushed and buffed several times since 1996 because kids love dragons even if Charizard is just boring as fuck, eclipsing Venusaur and Blastoise, whose are equal (or above) him. They push Charizard because kids (and some kids whose still loving Charizard because they loved him as kids) loves the shitty dragon and they push Lucario because they desperately want sell Lucario shit, make toys, merchan, movies, etc. Greninja is just an actually good designed pokemon, a really good pokemon in battle (before any buff) and a frog that developers actually loved. Greninja deserve its love, Greninja earned the love. Lucario is just forced and Charizard is still pushed because muh 1996-kidz and current kidz.
Do you like Delphox? Do you like Chesnaught? Do you like Charizard? Do you like Lucario? OK but don't be a dick just because the mon you don't like is loved and/or your bro isn't as loved.
