Why do people think that all anime needs to be DEEP with tons of plot twists? Anime has only one objective, to entertain. If it can be entertaining, then it has done its job.
Now, don't get me wrong, the flexibility of the medium is a great thing, it's what makes anime unique. You get anime of all types. But just because a show doesn't make it a point to present itself like an overly pretentious novel doesn't make it bad, it just makes it simple. I think people should just lighten up and start having fun for once.
