As it stands, it is made for generalist pokemon species who look “ordinary” and fight with conventional, non-specialist means. It’ll scratch, headbutt, and even use sound to inflict damage, and it’ll do it better than other types.
The weakness to fighting is still annoying, tho. I think Normal shouldn’t be weak or strong against anything, just immunity to Ghost is fine.
