Game freak is just one step away from making totally useful.
They designed teams to have 1 legendary, 1 HM slave shitmon, 1 bird type for fly, and then a water/fire/grass core (fire types are rare and barely exist but still).
That's what game freak intended but they gave us freedom to pick instead of forcing it. Maybe they just have to force it so that Ledian and flygon can be good.
