>>49723389I believe that wars in the Pokémon world are fought with, well, Pokemon. They have to be, since “guns” only appear in the first season back when the anime was taking a lot of liberties and the franchise back then was going with the premise it’s just the real world with Pokémon suddenly appearing, and said guns have been degraded into tools, like net cannons or whatever.
Just think about it. In the Pokémon world, there would be no real incentive to go through hundreds of years inventing and evolving firearms if catching a destructive Pokémon you can command is ridiculously much easier and effective. Armor would still be a thing, though, and I believe they would be significantly more advanced than real-world armor.
