But anyone actually paying attention (and not just casually speed-reading the series for "edgy" battles or gooner screenshots) can probably tell the difference between Ruby's true feelings for Sapphire, and Kusaka's fetish for framing Ruby to look like literal Hitler for some reason. But yeah, the forced miscommunication drama in ORAS would sour anybody to their relationship honestly, so much thrown away just to satisfy Kusaka's fetish. I can't fully blame anyone for disliking them now.
