i need a plot-related mechanic to make the antagonists more threatening but i don't think megas and z-moves are flashy enough. any ideas on how i can build off of those without outright making a new, bloated mechanic like dynamax?
i was thinking of something that lets you mega without a stone, but now that i think about it it doesn't sound that cool in practice
