Having stamina is a game changer, especially against VoltTurn users.
And having stealth rock means he will always do some meaningful progress, while HGoodra was too passive against popular cores (Glowking and ghosts for instance)

Skeledirge is a better fairy unaware mon than Clefable by a mile now thanks to the addition of Alluring Voice (80bp fairy type move that confuses pokemon that are boosting) and Scorching Sand.
He now alone invalidates half of OU.

Alluring Voice gives him an incredible edge against all bulky cosmic power / calm mind setters too.
And scorching sand will finally help him consistantly beat Heatran, Garg and Moth whithout abandonning burn.
