Gens 1-3 in particular have either so little text or perform so well (Gen 3 is all but both), that I am continuously surprised by how how much of the games I can get through in such little chunks of time, though some of that of course is knowing them so well even in a non-time context. I don't think DPP or pre-Delta ORAS weren't that bad, but in the grand scheme of pacing they are the turning point when I notice my play times seems to get larger faster.
