>>12811699>>12811892Yea, this team in the 1st reply is what you see everywhere in VGC, remember that.
Anyway, many of the common pokemon in VGC (Thundurus, Tornadus, Hydreigon, Latios, Latias, Garchomp) have severe ice weaknesses. In many teams I see, people overlook that weakness for power. Make sure to bring multiple Pokemon with an ice type move. Also, grass type moves help a lot for the common weather teams.

The main strategy is that Cofagrigus sets up the TR while Medicham, of course, fakes out a threat. Medicham then begins to use its common attack type advantage to kill something while I set Cofagrigus up to do the same. Note that moves like swords dance and nasty plot are less common in VGC, but I've definitely seen them pay off multiple times. My two pokemon in the back are usually Rotom and Torterra for the discharge/earthquake (rock slide) combo. Wide guard is my surprise factor that stops the dreaded blizzard and heat waves while Rotom does heavy damage to the threat. Mienshao is there for the other fake out users and for killing other fighting types.
Remember, there aren't many hazards, and protect is vital.
