I mean, they are outspeeded by dragons and either die cause secondary type (flamethrowers and earthquakes). Also you don't even need steel or poison since most pure fairies die with 1x damage moves if the enemy attack is decent.
Pic related with Dazzling Gleam is better than any fairy to counter dragons.
