I would want it done with gen 2's mechanics in terms of movesets and held items, but fuck ev's and iv's.
I'd want the Pokémon found in Kanto to also include the Gen2 pokemon that were found in Kanto during Gold & Silver, just for larger encounter tables.
The post game, fuck sevii, sevii is garbage, shouldnt exist. Instead a hollow version of Johto. Where you can find some Johto only mons and the legendaries. Plus idk maybe get a starter and a togepi egg. Plus Bug Contest has gotta be a thing. Then you get to rematch the elite four, but Agatha retired after you beat her last time, and is replaced by Karen. This will give every type a repeatable gym or elite four battle. After beating the elite four for a second time you gotta rematch all the kanto and johto gym leaders, and theyre all 6 pokemon roided up to the teeth. Followed by a third elite four rematch and finishing with a battle against professor oak. Afterward you head to Mt. Silver screen fades to black... Fades back... Text reads... 6 years later. You fight Gold. And its instant kino.
