But let's be real, you're playing the retard card despite Game Freak considering new eras as starting with games with a new region (not LGPE), new starters (not LGPE), new Legendaries (not LGPE), etc etc. and they don't end until they launch the next game triggering these stipulations. LGPE was at the arse end of Gen VII and crucially didn't trigger any the flags for a change in era.
