>>14338697I like Xros Wars, but I wouldn't put it up there that high. I like it because each Digimon has fun personalities, Shoutmon goes from annoying to bro tier, /m/echa evolutions everywhere, good villains(fuck yeah Blastmon), etc.
But I do feel like Tamers ultimately has better character development, is a bit less formulaic, and feels a little more real. Plus the digimon designs are pretty rad themselves. You can argue it does have a darker and edgier story, but that doesn't make it terrible, it just makes things interesting.
Tough to say on Adventure or Xros Wars in my second place though, as both have their pros and cons.
