>>47550968i feel you, OP. I play this game for fun too, but i still like to take the time to look up all intricate move details and smogon strategies for use in post-game stuff like Battle Tower. I play competitive too, but mostly to meet a minimum to get some participation gift, win or lose and i do lose. Lucky for all of us, EV training and obsessive breeding is made (progressively) easier and less time-consuming than it used to be
