I decided on putting Azelf on the team because I didn't want to grind someone else up, and if I have already used Pseudo-legendaries in earlier runs, Azelf isn't too strong by comparison.
That being said, I will keep trying to keep legendaries to a minimum in my runs, and those legends with over 600 are only being used if they are either forced or part of the last 6 available lines.
With that out of the way- Elite 4 time!
>Vs Aaron
>Dustox
Tiny Kong takes it out with Flare Blitz
>Beautifly
Another Flare Blitz(activating Tiny's Sitrus Berry)
>Drapion
An Earthquake activates Drapion's Sitrus Berry, and it hits back with Ice Fang.
The EQ damage was less than I was hoping for though, so I switch Moominpapa in... on an X-Scissor.
Drapion tries another X-Scissor, but STAB Earthquake does the job.
>Heracross
Stone Edge meets Earthquake.
Heracross tries Night Slash, which does very little, and is hit back by EQ. Sandstorm puts it at 1 HP or thereabout.
Aaron uses a Full Restore, but a high roll EQ puts Heracross comfortably back under half health.
One Megahorn miss later, another Earthquake takes the bug out.
>Vespiquen
Two Ice Fangs makes short work of it, as it tries to use Defend Order to bulk up.
>Vs Bertha
>Quagsire
Lila eats it with Giga Drain.
>Sudowoodo
A Wood Hammer shatters the fake tree.
>Golem and Whiscash
Giga Drain destroy both.
>Hippowdon
I send Moominpapa in on a Crunch.
Ice Fang causes a Freeze.
Moominpapa's Earthquake activates the Hippowdon's Sitrus Berry, and to add insult to injury, it thaws out and Earthquakes right back.
Ice Fang is met by Crunch.
Bertha uses a Full Restore as Moominpapa uses another Ice Fang, and I decided this is not going anywhere fast.
I have Moominpapa use Yawn as the other Hippowdon Curses.
Ice Fang meets Earthquake once again, and I send in May Kanker after the Hippo falls asleep.
Surf finishes the the job.
