Modify the 8 character models to be taller and have more mature faces so they look late teens to early 20’s.
Ask the player to pick one of the 16 player characters.
Story starts with you moving to a new region like in Gen 3.
You get your Pokémon as a welcome present from the local professor (similar to Black and White).
