Finished violet fighting monolocke (no overlevelling or sleep). I allowed myself soft resetting on wipe after having to reset once and I ceebs going through the tutorial every time. I only had to soft reset for the Clavell fight. The strategy of the team at the end was to set up dual screens with medicham then setup Belly drum on Hariyama or Swords Dance on Gallade with everyone else as support/sweeping. I enjoyed using Passimian, it hits like a truck and had a lot of utility with Taunt/U-turn. Honorable mentions include Hawlucha who functioned very similarly. I also occasionally used Pawmot for speed control and for baton passing +2 agility, but doing the whole screens + agi pass + belly drum setup was a bit too finnicky.
