>>37538284After realizing that my team is completely unthreatened by anything outside Red, even while grinding, I realized that the sheer tedium of leveling my mons up all the way to Red's levels isn't worth it. I got them to 65-ish(I can't count how many times I beat the E4), but then I decided to use the Coin Case glitch on my Silver version to get Rare Candies. The alternative is spending hours on hours on hours on something that bores the life out of me.
If there was a some better way to grind in Gold, or if my team was at any risk of actually dying, I'd stick with grinding, but at this point I just removed pure undiluted tedium.
My team is now on par with Red in levels thanks to this, and I'm about to take him on. Gonna be honest about the fact that I did it.
