The Dex Cut would be announced and explained. The reasons for it would be expressed clearly and the results of it would be shown. People would be assured that their favorite Pokemon will be able to be in the game, just potentially not at launch.
Unless they like Landorus and the Tapus, those can fucking stay gone forever.I'd also make getting Shiny Pokemon super easy and even let you make a Pokemon shiny by using a currency gotten by winning a bunch of ranked matches or getting a 50+ streak in the post-game battle facilities. This would mainly be to discourage people wasting hundreds of hours "shiny hunting." I don't think its healthy and really worth it.
