Really loved the sprites of gen3.
I remember finding a random Raikou in FRLG and my it literally send chills down my spine. That was really great as a kid because i had zero knowledge about Raikou being in this games. Just look at its sprite.
These six are my all time favorites sprites. They is something majestic and terrifying about them, i cant really explain what it is. Maybe those crazy eyes?
It was just such a great moment when they suddenly appeared on your screen (exept for Lugia und Ho-oh of course). Remember the first time when you encountered Latios? That one second before you could see the sprite in full color because the battle just began? Truely a great childhood moment. I miss sprites like that. In gen 4 they all looked different, not that terrifying anymore.
Maybe that is all just in my head because i am older now. All the magic is lost.
