The gym leads down to a cave where the floor is covered in sharp stones that cannot be crossed by foot. The player has to find and detonate dynamite to drop stalactites onto the rocks to create platforms to reach an elevator. The elevator takes the player to the deepest part of the mine where the gym leader awaits in a diamond cave.
