I'll start off with the first Pokemon game I ever played. Pokemon X. it was my first playthrough, i was a horrible trainer, had poor team composition, bad selection of moves, and pretty much brute forced my way through most battles.
Taking that all in mind, let me tell how about the Elite Four and champion. Unexpectedly Got my ass kicked. My first attempt was at Malva, that cunt with the fire types. she basically sweeped my party with her third or second Pokemon. With her mocking line of victory, my inmature younger self nearly dropped the game. But instead I grinned. I decided to level my party to an actual senseable level. I also went to spend all the money I had collected on full restores and suchm making sure i could cheese the fights if needed.
So that's how I went, taking on all the champions in a slow, but steady crawl. Making sure to heal my party after each Elite four.
Finally I reached Champion Diantha. Easily my hardest fight yet. I barely scraped to her last pokemon, even with all my full restores and status heals. I only had one Pokemon left.
My Lucario, 'Lucy', agents her already Mega Evolved Gardevoir. I wasn't hopeful, certain I would fail and have to start it all over again.
But... Then the absolutely unexpected happened. Something almost too bullshit that even Gen 1 would see a problem with it.
I one shotted her Gardevoir. Yeah, I insta killed a Physic type with a FIghting type, using a FUCKING FIGHTING TYPE MOVE!
I'm not sure if it was a glitch, or I somehow managed to hit with focus blast before hand, but I killed it at full health!
Someone please explain this to me.
