>>29445630It doesn't work like that. It's just the way gym AI works, certain moveset just do more damage. What does Steel Wing Dragonite hit? It's resisted by 3 types Dragon resists (Water, Fire, and Electric) but with the way the gym AI works, mathematically speaking, Steel Wing/Dragon Pulse Dragonite is the best moveset for gym defense. Same thing with Water Gun/Flash Cannon Blastoise.
I mean going by this list it's clearly a low tier defender even with an ideal defensive moveset but math is math.
