I've had so many stupid ass arguments with people on here who seem convinced that anime episodes are written and worked on ONE AT A TIME, and that the anime plotline was totally fucked over by Rocket Vs Plasma being cut, and that if they werent we were going to get this epic plotling running from Castelia to the end of Unova with N and Ash racing for badges, and frequent battles with Plasma grunts and a final showdown in N's Castle.
I know the Earthquake seriously fucked with the plans for the anime, but lets be real, this awesome THIS WAS NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN.
If the writers were planning this Ash would have met N and Team Plasma in the THIRD EPISODE.
They wouldn't have written movies involivng Zekrom and Reshiram that explicitly contradict the storylines of the gmaes.
Instead the closest thing we get to a plotpoint from the games being in the anime was Bianca's dad trying to get her to end her Pokémon journey.
Even regardless of the fact that TWO episodes didn't air, its far too obvious now that the writers basically didn't plan anything even a fraction as ambitious as the pre-Castelia episodes for the rest of the series, and the Earthquake made everything worse.
