Caraschist has three major reasons for adoption:
1) it includes most of the same sounds
2) it has the same pun structure as the other two names carajoule and caranox
3) schist is a hard stone that easily breaks into shards indicating to the knowledgeable that the pokemon has high defenses but is still a bug so has common weaknesses
Since I know most of this is just stubborn laziness, here is the same thread opener with this small, but necessary, change. That this has persisted so long is a joke and is only going to reflect badly on us after demos are out. It makes no sense to use Carapace as a name.
