I've been playing this since just before the remakes dropped, and I intend to finish it before they *officially* drop. I remember these games fondly but playing Pearl again as an adult...my God, the Sinnoh dex in D/P is absolute dogshit, fucking Ponyta everywhere, hell, there sure is a lot of KANTOOO in these games, to say nothing of there being a shit ton of rock types, and they're not even useful rock types. My team in 2021 is almost the same as it was in 2008, for the simple reason there are no other pokemon to catch. Most of the Gen 4 mons are locked behind the natdex.
Please tell me the remakes are better.
