Realistically sales would increase much like SwSh's although that of course means SwSh would have gotten it's sales cut. SwSh sold almost exactly 18 million from launch to September 2020. If the increase from Sun and Moon to Sword and Shield was of 8 million, half of SM's sales or a third of SwSh's, we can extrapolate that Max SwSh would have sold at least 13 million before BDSP, Arceus and SV's announcement made its sales collapse like they just did to SwSh's, easily blasting past GSC's combined total of 30 million by a surplus of 3 million, and that's without taking into account.
