>>13707202>Why doesn't Lilligant have Sleep Powder?I actually replaced it with Quiver Dance. Because at the time I was on a streak of wasting 3-5 turns missing Sleep Powders, Mega Drain was my sustenance, Leech Seed was my attrition tool and a safe bet for weakening wild pokemon for capture, and Magic Leaf was my best nuke. So I chose reliable stats over RNG sleep that usually only lasted 2 turns.
>A simple look at your stats should reveal that Stoutland has no business using Surf or Shadowball.I actually killed the Ghost chick's chandelier with Surf. Think I also took her Golurk down with it.
But yeah, ideally I'd have a water type or HM slave use it instead. I just hate swapping around in the box alot. The thing hasn't improved AT ALL in all these years. It's still just as clunky as Gen 1 and 2.
Where do I find these Move Tutors? I only met the one with Pledges.
>Sigilyph does better with a boosting move, needing at least one to reach its full potential. You get Charge Beam early on as a TM, and it learns Cosmic Power for defense tanking at lvl 48. Ideally, you'd also give it Roost from the move tutor to give it recovery. But Charge Beam is awfully RNG. I had it on Eelektrik and it didn't boost Special Attack reliably at all. I think I saw a move called Calm Mind that looked good.
> Leave your DS on near a patch of grass at the E4 and do something online. If you're telling me the grass doesn't stop shaking until you jump on it, I'm in. I didn't know it did that. Can I use Repel to avoid getting caught by a random encounter worth 200 exp or does that block the rustling grass?
>>13707345I didn't know either of them were mandatory. I was using the monkey plant and a musharna up until mid-20s when someone on /v/ told me to trade them out for "real SpAttack sweepers like Petilil and Sigilyph". Both of which I had boxed. I just grabbed what I had.
