>>35535915>The rival repeating the same thing all the timeBianca is far more interesting character than Hau. Cheren is kinda similar, I guess.
>The pathetic number of Pokémon per trainerTake a look at the picture. BW's trainers do not have many Pokemon but considering BW and SM the same in this regard is simply wrong.
>The linearity. While all the Pokémon games are somewhat linear, the linearity began with gen V. It began in gen III but otherwise true.
>The handholdingElemental monkeys were supposed to teach you about type weaknesses. You also didn't have to get them. I beat the gym with Lillipup.
A lot of trade Pokemon have big IVs so mentioning Zorua is just weird since it isn't that different in this regard.
Free Pokecenter on Routes make the games easier but they do not hold your hand. You are still supposed to explore those areas alone.
>”Cutscenes” everywhere. Seriously, each time you enter a zone or exitThese cutscenes are incomparable. BW ones are much shorter and better paced.
>Coupled with the stupid level scaling system which doesn't work. At the beginning, you win almost no experience then too much, then (at post-game) nothing again. Impossible. I was showered with experience in postgame. My Pokemon went from 50 to almost 70 levels.
Also, SM removed bonus experience from trainer battles. It's an entirely different topic to talk about.
>Overrated characters. N and LillieRetarded point to bring up. Think about it.
I get what you mean since I've noticed similarities between SM and BW as well but you are definitely using hyperbole here. BW feels complete while SM have some areas that obviously weren't included in the final product (e.g. Wela Volcano). BW introduced constantly moving sprites while SM copied models from previous games. BW has a huge amount of new Pokemon while SM is quite the opposite. The list goes on.
SM shares some of BW's drawbacks (and few of them even transform into BIG drawbacks) and have its own problems.
