I've used Flygon in every fucking generation, in every game. I'm always prepared. It all started back in gen III when I caught a trapinch. When it finally evolved, I was fucking hyped to have a dragon. My friend at the time absolutely forbade the notion of us sharing the same team, so it was always my Flygon up against his Salamence. He's not too great, so I destroy him every time. My shiny Flygon is trapped in Gen V because i'm 2poor4 pokemon bank.
As for Typhlosion every time I replay GSC/HGSS I always pick Cyndaquil.
Sylveon is growing on me quite a bit, too. In XY my Sylveon was a good 15 levels above the rest of my team. She can carry.
