Victribell had (stomach) acid to dissolve prey. Vileplume has its airborne toxins and stench.
And Gastly line is literally sentient knockout gas.
Zubat, like Venusaur, is a little weird. But since they refuse to have pure flying types unless they are literally made of wind like Tornadus, it makes sense for a vampire bat to be Poison more than Normal I suppose. They didn't get a single poison move (ignoring toxic) until gen 3, though. Given leech life (literally suck blood in japanese) was nearly its signature move in terms of gen1 distribution (got it level 1 when the other two got it right before evolving, only had like 7 moves total to choose from so it was bound to be run on every golbat) I kinda halfway want it to be bug/flying, but pic related.
