>>52256819>What it did right?-Terastalize is an interesting mechanic.
-Figured out how to make the ride pokemon work successfully
-Stories do have some good moments, specifically the titan storyline personally
-Making competitive pokemon is probably the best it has been, being able to buy nature mints, bottle caps for hyper training, and the auction place in that one town sells large amounts of 1 berry that seems to be the ev reduction ones daily.
-Limited freedom, but more than any game can boast
-music still is good, minus the credit one, ffs gamefreak.
-Characters have some more life to them
>What it did wrong?-Runs like molasses amd graphical glitches but that seems to be beating a dead horse at this point.
-No trainer uses any potions anymore (i know it just delays battles but still)
-Removal of QoL things like set mode or disabling battle animations.
-The pokedex is completely fucked. No search function, no ability to skip large amounts of entries, just hold right and pray you see it blur by. And does not save your location in the dex entries so if you want to look it up again, hold right and pray.
-pokemon drop items required to make 1 time TMS, in theory it is a nice change, until you have to farm "insert rare spawn pokemon" for 4 of its pubic hairs to make your move you need
-classes are interesting, but at the end of the day it is a loss of time for quizes that give small rewards.
-Characters are still robotic
-SEVERE lack of character customization, yes you can buy a helmet and change your socks and backpack, but you are stuck with 4 outfits.
-worlds feel empty at times, painted on doors and shops that are load screens into menus
-inputs are really poor, picking up items on bike can be so awful.
-The lock on is shit, sometimes working and sometimes not.
-The local map icons are shit, if it shows there is a pokemon in your area, the icon moves when you turn around, disorienting you where the pokemon actually is.
-too long to continue
