Grapploct might have been Water type at some point, but had it removed because there already too many Water types in Galar. Like how they took Water away from Stunfisk and made it Ground instead because of an abundance of Water types but a lack of Ground types. Or stuck Ghost on Frillish and Jellicent simply because Unova needed more Ghost types.
