>>56819906I'd probably start by divorcing stats being weighted towards which part of the fusion is the head or body, it makes some Pokemon really not fun to use, like Bastiodon as the head for example. Bastiodon is a very defensive Pokemon stat-wise, which is meant to offset the fact that Rock is a very weak typing, especially paired with Steel. Conversely, Rock is also a great offensive typing. So when I see badass fusions with Pokemon like Bastiodon as the head that you would think would make a Pokemon much more defensive, it sucks to see that the resulting fusion gets like, half of the Defense Bastiodon has by default, and only his Special Defense gets carried over, because of how the stat weighting works. Not sure exactly what formula I'd use in place, but it's something I would prefer to be different.
