let me tell you all the story of lil' spike.
>Playing Radical Red
>Hit the Sabrina gym
>Double battle with immediate Psychic Terrain and a Hatterene setting up Trick Room first turn
>Psychic Terrain blocks out my usual plan of abusing priority and Prankster
>Formulate plan
>Need a Pokemon that can drop terrain but is slow as shit
>Needs to be slower than a 0 IV Indeedee
>Best option is Pincurchin since it can be DexNav'd for the HA
>Spend about 10 mins dexnavving until I get one with Electric Terrain
>Name it Lil' Spike
>Grind it up to the level cap and add it to the party, tossing Breloom for this particular fight
>Battle starts, send out Metagross and Lil' Spike
>Electric Terrain overrides Psychic Terrain
>Metagross is able to oneshot Hatterene, Lil' Spike able to oneshot the Indeedee
>Easy sweep between the two until the Conkeldurr and Porygon2 drop
>Lose everyone in the party except Dusclops and Lil' Spike
>Fucking Lil' Spike gets a crit Zip Zap on Conkeldurr
>Easily clears out the Porygon2 afterwards
It's incredibly tempting to keep this thing in the team since terrain abuse is going to be a big thing coming up, but for the time being, Lil' Spike has done his job. God speed, Lil' Spike.
