I posted my GameMaker engine/game project here a few years ago. It was focused on making a traditional Pokemon game but with quality of life features, higher view port, and good use of Mouse+Keyboard/Gamepad support. I stopped working on it because I got busy IRL, then covid came and I started working full time.
I have more free time now. Decided to pick up the project again, I'm fixing bugs, removing legacy code, and planning to integrate with Showdown's battle system so I don't have to write one from scratch.
If anyone is interested, I would love having someone to make maps using Tiled or a similar tool. I wanna rework part of the logic I used to make maps back then.

these days it also runs at 4x scale by default, since I feel most people have higher resolution monitors these days.
