It's listed as 8.5 x 11.7 inches, or 21.59 × 29.718 centimetres. If your sheets are too big, you might have to look for another scanner.
I don't know what model the 50-dollar scanner is however.
Though I have to ask. What do you mean by "differently shaped"?
