It almost seems like there was a crossed wire in the writers room, one of the writers was drawing from their own experience dealing with a controlling borderline abusive older sister, but then remember that the other writers told them that Carmine wasn't supposed to be that bad, so they toned it down in Indigo Mask but the original bitchness is never addressed.
I feel there's something very wrong when some of the stuff coming out of Carmine is stuff I picture Lusamine saying
