>>56265234Sure can. The flying Pikachu first showed up as an image on the intro screen in Yellow, and they made it an actual event distribution later on. It's showed up a few times. There's also the probably more well known Surfing Pikachu, which again originated in Yellow in basically the same way. Really fun thing was that if you manged to actually acquire the surfing Pikachu, you could play a unique minigame with it, and if you used Surf in the overworld it had a unique sprite of Pikachu on a surfboard. Pretty neat.
