So guys uh something very odd happened to me today while battling one of my friends.
We were sitting across the table from each other and a bit into the match she said that some dialogue came onto the screen saying something along the lines of "Charizard's Charizardite X was inhibited!" or something. She says she wasn't really paying attention so she just clicked through the text.
The thing is earlier in the match she was saying she couldn't Mega Evolve her Charizard. I don't know if the Mega Evolution button was grayed out or just not there. But apparently this bit of text talking about the megastone being inhibited came up AFTER I had KO'd her Charizard. Like, a while after.
Is this already known? Or anything like it? Sadly neither of us have the VS recorder so we couldn't save it to try and see what might have caused that.

I don't quite remember what her team was but I know she had Raichu, Vaporeon, Lapras, Charizard, and Noivern. She swears her Charizard was holding its megastone. She hadn't Mega Evolved anything else during the match.
